Palace offers prayers for people who died due to typhoons, Covid-19

By Prince Golez

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque joined the Filipino people in praying for all those who have died, including those who lost their lives to the recent typhoons and coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

In a Facebook post on All Souls’ Day, Roque also asked to pray for the eternal repose of the souls of all the faithful departed.

“Sa araw na ito, nananalangin tayo na ang lahat ng mga yumao nating mahal sa buhay, kabilang ang mga nasawi sa nagdaang bagyo at pandemya ay maging mapayapa sa piling ng Maykapal. Amen,” the Palace official said.

As of November 1, the Philippines recorded a total of 7,238 fatalities due to Covid-19.

At least 10 people were killed as typhoon “Rolly” pounded the country Sunday.
