Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra on Saturday (Nov. 28) vowed to run after persons making false accusations of errors in the learning modules of the Department of Education (DepEd).
Guevarra made the assurance after DepEd Sec. Leonor Briones sought DOJ assistance against these persons.
“The DOJ has not received any request for assistance from the DepEd,” said Guevarra.
“But we will be ready to help if there is evidence tending to show the false and malicious character of these allegations about the agency’s learning modules,” he assured.
Guevarra said he could order the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) to investigate these persons.
Briones earlier said that DepEd has been getting flak for modules that it did not even make.
“They even use the seal of DepEd,” she lamented.
