Health Secretary Francisco Duque III urged the public to celebrate the holidays only with immediate family.
In a Laging Handa briefing Monday, Duque discouraged people from inviting and hosting guests to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
To reduce the risk of getting infected, Duque also encouraged Filipinos to attend Mass virtually and stay away from poorly ventilated places.
