Senator Bong Revilla is preparing for his television comeback.
The senator has started filming his latest television series on GMA network. The television program, where Revilla will reportedly portray a forest ranger, is expected to air on the Kapuso network in 2021.
Revilla returned to tv production and shared on Facebook how excited he is about the new show and the cast.
“Nagsimula na po ang shoot ng aking palabas na Agimat ng Agila na mapapanood niyo na sa GMA 7 sa susunod na taon! Ilan lang po sa mga nakasama ko sa shooting ngayong araw si Sanya Lopez at ang Agila sa aming set,” he said.
“Madami pa po kaming batikang artista na kasama sa palabas na ito. Kaya siguradong kaabang-abang po ang magiging takbo ng istoryang ito para sa inyo,” he said.
The new tv show is the first program of Revilla since he was acquitted by an anti-graft court in December 2018. He was previously detained for four years for alleged involvement in the pork barrel scam.
