Daddy duties: Mar Roxas reads a book to kids, climbs a tree

Former Interior and Local Government Secretary Mar Roxas is enjoying every bit of fatherhood.

The former Cabinet member recently shared some sweet family moments on Instagram, including reading a book and teaching basic concepts to his kids Pepe and Pilar.

A latest Instagram photo showed Roxas reading the book “Go, Dog. Go!” by P.D Eastman to the adorable little Pepe before bedtime. “As good as it gets. Good night all!” Roxas captioned the reading session.

Roxas also found a creative way to teach his children how to differentiate left from right. Another Instagram snapshot showed the hands of the twins with pen marks “L” and “R” on their hands.
“I have two hands…” Roxas said about the photo of his kids learning the lesson for the day.

Roxas’ daddy duties did not stop in teaching and reading. He was also spotted playing with his kids at the garden of the family residence in Cubao.

His wife broadcaster Korina Sanchez shared on Instagram showing Roxas climbing a tree while his two kids looked on. “I told my kids: don’t talk to strange men hiding in trees. 🤣😂💚 #TatayNiPepeEnPilar,” Korina captioned the family photo.

Roxas, who has taken a break from politics and embraced family life

Another happy photo of the Roxas family was also posted on Instagram in celebration of Thanksgiving Day late last month. Korina said she is thankful for having a safe, healthy and happy family.

“And of course, I am thankful For family. We are all safe, healthy and happy. Too many blessings to be thankful for. Thank you, Lord. 💚#Grateful,” she said.
