The Task Force Against Corruption (TFAC) has received complaints against at least a couple in the list of the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC) of former and current lawmakers allegedly involved in corruption, admitted Justice Secretary Menardo Guevarra.
“At least two names in common,” Guevarra said.
“But the task force has a lot more complaints to examine and evaluate,” he noted.
Those revealed by President Rodrigo Duterte based on the PACC’s report were Occidental Mindoro Rep. Josephine Sato, former Ifugao Rep. Teddy Baguilat Jr, Quezon City 5th District Rep. Alfred Vargas, Misamis Occidental 2nd District Rep. Henry Oaminal, Isabela 4th District Rep. Alyssa Tan, Northern Samar 1st District Rep. Paul Daza, Quezon 4th District Rep. Angelina Tan, ACT-CIS party-list Rep. Eric Yap, and Bataan 1st District Rep. Geraldine Roman.
On the other hand, Guevarra refused to divulge which of them have been the subjects of complaints submitted to the TFAC.
“I do not want to mention names until we have found something substantial,” he explained.
“We have just begun the process,” he added.
