Palace assures justice to mother, son killed by Parañaque cop: ‘No ifs, no buts’

By Prince Golez

Malacañang on Monday condemned the killing of Sonya Gregorio and her son Frank by Police Corporal Jonel Nuezca on Sunday in Paniqui, Tarlac.

The shooting incident stemmed from the firing of a PVC cannon by the Gregorios. They had also been involved in a property right-of-way dispute.

Nuezca, who is assigned to the Parañaque City Crime Laboratory, shot the two unarmed victims twice each in the head. The cop has since surrendered and is now in police custody.

No ifs, no buts,” added Roque.
