Ping lauds Teddyboy for fast work

Sen. Panfilo Lacson on Saturday lauded Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. for his quick action in his official work.

In a tweet on Saturday, Lacson said Locsin deserves a medal from the Anti-Red Tape Authority for “breaking their record.”

“Thank you SFA Teddy Boy Locsin. That official action was faster than one could ever hope for. The Anti-Red Tape Authority must give you a medal for breaking their record. If you were in charge of the vaccines, imagine the kind of difference it could make to people’s lives,” he said.

Last year, Locsin and Philippine ambassador to Washington Jose Romualdez worked to bring in 10 million doses of vaccines from the US by January.

But the deal was thrown off track after Health Secretary Francisco Duque III “dropped the ball” by failing to sign an agreement needed for the deal.
