Before heading to Manila, President Rodrigo Duterte visited the resting place of his parents, Vicente and Soledad Duterte, at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Davao City Sunday.
A photo provided by the Malacañang Presidential Photographers Division showed Duterte kissing the resting place of his father.
The Chief Executive consistently visits his departed loved ones even when he was still mayor of Davao City.
Vicente served as governor of then undivided Davao Province while Soledad was a teacher and activist civic leader.
