Nega lang pwede! House requires antigen testing for flag ceremony attendees

By Billy Begas

The House of Representantes will hold a face-to-face flag-raising ceremony tomorrow, March 1.

Based on a memorandum leaked to Politiko, Speaker Lord Allan Jay Velasco will be the guest of honor.

The Office of House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza issued the memorandum.

Those who attend the flag ceremony will be required to undergo an antigen test before proceeding to the main entrance of the Main Building where the flag ceremony will be held.

The antigen testing stations were located at the North Wing Lobby, South Wing Lobby, RVM Building, and South Wing Annex. Testing will start at 7 a.m.

The memorandum directs the Legislative Security Bureau to ensure orderly queuing at the antigen testing stations and to make sure that only those who tested negative may be allowed at the flagpole area. Physical distancing will be observed at the flag-raising ceremony.
