An employee of the House of Representatives, who tested positive for COVID-19 last week, died today, March 22.
The employee is part of the Press and Public Affairs Bureau workforce.
It was learned that the male employee also has diabetes and hypertension.
The leadership of the House of Representatives has limited the number of individuals who can enter the Batasan Complex and the plenary session hall in light of the rising COVID-19 cases in Metro Manila.
The Batasang Pambansa complex was placed on lockdown from March 18 to 21.
