Palace still studying proposal to block some firms from buying vaccines

By Prince Golez

MalacaƱang said it is studying a proposal to ban certain industries from procuring coronavirus (Covid-19) vaccines.

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque was reacting to the reported existence of a draft administrative order prohibiting manufacturers of tobacco, milk, sugar, and alcohol in the country from buying vaccines for their employees.

The secretary added that this will be discussed not only by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases but also by all concerned branches of government.
