Ahead of any announcement from Malacañang, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla revealed on Facebook the new stringent quarantine measures in Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

The IATF resolution includes prohibitions against mass gatherings including religious gatherings, unnecessary travel, to stop the runaway the COVID-19 transmission in the country. Dine-in restaurants, cafes and establishments will be limited to delivery and take-out. Any outdoor dining will be allowed provided certain health protocols are in place.
