Former President Joseph Estrada said he’s in good condition as he continues to battle COVID-19 at a hospital.
Estrada’s son, former senator Jinggoy Estrada, shared a video of the 83-year-old politiko on Tuesday (March 30) to update the public about his condition.
The former President could be seen pausing to catch his breath while hooked to what looked like an oxygen tank.
Sitting on his bed, Estrada said: “Magandang hapon, mga kababayan. Maraming salamat sa inyong mga dasal at ako ay nasa maayos na kalagayan. ‘Wag kayong mag-alala, malakas ako, kayo ay mag-ingat din. Kayo ay stay healthy rin. Magandang hapon ulit.”
Estrada, who also served as Manila mayor from 2013 to 2019, was rushed to the hospital on Sunday (March 28) due to difficulty in breathing. His son said he’s already in stable condition.
