The government is doing everything it can to address hunger among Filipinos, Malacañang said.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque made the statement in response to a survey conducted by the Department of Science and Technology’s Food and Nutrition Research Institute that six out of 10 Filipino families suffered from having little or nothing to eat during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Pero alam natin na mas marami pang dapat gawin,” Roque said during a Laging Handa briefing Friday.
The Palace official cited various measures the government has taken to prevent hunger as the country fights this pandemic.
