Five women politikos have landed on the list of 12 preferred senatorial choices based on a recent survey.
The senatorial survey, conducted by PUBLiCUS Asia Inc, was topped by Manila Mayor Isko Moreno.
The 1,500 poll respondents were asked “As of now, who among the following would you most likely support for senator in the 2022 elections?”
In the poll conducted from March 20 to 29, Leyte Rep. Lucy Torres Gomez ranked fifth in the survey with 38.9 percent.
President Duterte’s daughter Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte Carpio placed sixth with 30.7 percent score, followed by Senator Risa Hontiveros at 30.5 percent.
Lipa, Batangas Rep. Vilma Santos Recto got the 11th spot with 22.5 percent score while Antique Rep. Loren Legarda ranked 12th with 22.3 percent.
The list of preferred senatorial bets included Senator Manny Pacquiao, Dr. Willie Ong, Sorsogon Governor Francis Escudero, former Senator Bongbong Marcos, Senator Joel Villanueva, and Senator Sherwin Gatchalian.
A screenshot of the survey results was shared by Rep. Lucy and her hubby Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez. The actor-turned-politiko hinted that he and his wife might swap local posts in next year’s elections.
