Palace responds to claims Duterte images were photoshopped: ‘Let them be’

By Prince Golez

Malacañang on Friday shrugged off allegations that the recent photos of President Duterte have been manipulated.

In a statement, Spokesman Harry Roque accused detractors of Duterte of claiming that the proof-of-life photos of him are edited.

“As to claims that the recent photos of President Duterte are photoshopped, those who made noise on the matter are the usual detractors of the Chief Executive who see nothing good in what he does. Let them be,” said Roque.

On Thursday Senator Christopher Go posted an image of Duterte seated behind a table cluttered with documents and newspapers, belying questions about the President’s health.

The lawmaker released another photo of him with the Filipino leader Thursday afternoon.
