Trillanes warns public vs ‘narcissist’ Duterte: Let’s just demand for him to work during crisis

Former Senator Antonio Trillanes IV is warning the public against falling for the alleged script of President Duterte supposedly being sick.

In his latest post on Twitter, Trillanes called Duterte a narcissist, who only craved for attention.

Duterte has been absent from public view since his last televised address on March 29. He had no public activities since late March while the country’s coronavirus situation worsened with cases reaching more than 800,000. His former aide merely posted photos of the President going for a jog, riding a motorcycle and playing golf at night at the Palace compound.

“I’m not buying this info that duterte is sick. He’s been doing that for the past 5 yrs. Mawawala kunyare then they’d float their own rumor. Tapos lalabas like a conquering hero and burn all those who went for the ride,” Trillanes said in a post on Twitter April 11, 2021.

“He’s a narcissist, remember? He craves for the attention,” he said.

The former senator said people should instead demand Duterte to work. He alleged that Duterte was just lazy and insensitive to the plight of the people.

“Instead of getting sucked in to their script, let’s just demand for him to work at this time of severe national crisis. Napakatamad na, wala pang malasakit!” he said.

Trillanes included the hashtags #duterteBATUGAN, #dutertePALPAK and #duterteRESIGN in his latest post on Twitter. His post has earned more than 1,000 likes on the microblogging site.
