Local chief executives are now included in the list of people to be prioritized for Covid-19 vaccination, Malacañang said Monday.
In his virtual presser, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque announced that governors and mayors are now under priority group A1.5 for vaccination.
“Napagkasunduan ng inyong IATF (Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases) na ang mga gobernador at mga mayor ay mapapabilang na rin po sa priority A1.5,” according to Roque.
The Palace official said the fresh directive was contained in IATF Resolution 115-B.
“Sa mga mayors and governors, magpabakuna na rin tayo,” he added.
Only mayors and governors in critical or high-risk areas were previously included in the vaccine priority list.
