Palace says Teddyboy Locsin’s profanity-laden tweet not PH policy on WPS dispute

By Prince Golez

Foreign Secretary Locsin has apologized to Chinese Ambassador Huang Xilian for his profanity-laced comment against China, Malacañang said Tuesday.

In an expletive-laced tweet on Monday, Locsin asked China to “get the f*ck out” of disputed waters, also questioning what Beijing was doing with its friendship with the Philippines.

Last month, the National Task Force for the West Philippine Sea had spotted at least 240 Chinese ships at the Julian Felipe Reef in the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

Roque clarified that the remarks of Locsin against China was “not a policy” of the Philippine government on the WPS issue.
