The Presidential Social Fund can be used to help the Philippine General Hospital (PGH) after a fire damaged a portion of the facility early Sunday, according to Malacañang.
Yan ang unang-unang reaksyon ni presidente,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser Monday.
Roque said the urgent repair of fire-damaged PGH, the country’s biggest Covid-19 referral hospital, is a “top priority” for the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).
“Kinikilala natin na ang PGH talaga is not only a premier teaching hospital in the country but also importante sa buhay ng mga mahihirap na Pilipino,” he added.
