Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Salvador Panelo has welcomed the development of a nasal spray that’s reportedly capable of killing coronavirus (Covid-19).
“Magandang balita ‘yun. Ibig sabihin, sa madaling sabi, meron tayong puwedeng gamitin na makakapigil ng pagpasok ng coronavirus sa ating katawan,” Panelo said during his online commentary show, “Counterpoint” Saturday.
The abogado was referring to Canadian-based biotech company SaNOtize Research and Development’s Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray branded as Enovid.
Citing results of clinical trials, Panelo noted that patients using SaNotize’s spray saw an average viral log reduction of 1.362 in the first 24 hours, which is a decline of 95 percent. Within 72 hours, the viral load dropped by more than 99 percent.
“Unang-una mura ito. Pangalawa, hindi ka naman tuturukan nito, hindi ka papasukan sa katawan mo. Hindi invasive kumbaga. Siguro, ito na yung kasagutan sa mga dasal po natin sa araw-araw, gabi-gabi sa ating Dakilang Lumikha,” he also said.
