Without a hitch! Edu Manzano gets vaccinated

Former San Juan congressional bet Edu Manzano is thankful for the country’s health workers following his vaccination against the coronavirus disease.

Manzano received the first shot of the vaccine developed by Pfizer in his hometown of San Juan. He posted a photo of his vaccination, saying it was completed without any hitch.

“Done! My first jab (Pfizer) completed w/o a hitch. Your tax pesos working for you,” he wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you to all the front-liners, nurses and doctors. Thank you San Juan! #vaccine #frontliners #staysafe,” he added.

The American-made coronavirus vaccines are among the latest batch of supplies received by the country under the COVAX facility. The global scheme, initiated by the World Health Organization, to ensure equal vaccine access among nations.

The country’s current vaccine supplies are Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Sputnik V, and Pfizer. Of the country’s more than 7 million vaccines, 2.5 million doses have been administered as of May 11.
