The national government has placed Davao City under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) starting tomorrow, June 5.
In a statement Friday, Malacañang said the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) on Emerging Infectious Diseases approved to place the city under MECQ until June 20.
The government’s Covid-19 task force also reverted General Santos City to general community quarantine starting Saturday, according to Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
The quarantine status will expire until end of June.
“The IATF likewise approved the general community quarantine status of General Santos City starting June 5 until June 30, 2021,” said Roque.
