MalacaƱang denied circulating a text message supposedly from President Rodrigo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio urging the public to take Covid-19 vaccine.
This, after some Filipinos received a text message from random numbers urging them to get Covid-19 vaccine.
The message also included the hashtags #SafePilipinas and #SafeDavao.
“Ako po yung in charge sa communications pagdating po sa bakuna and I can say na bagamat ang Presidente po ang best communicator, hindi po kami nagpakalat ng ganyang text,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a recent virtual presser.
Here’s the full text message:
“Dumarating na mga bakuna: Magrehistro sa barangay. Magpabakuna pag natawagan na. Mag-ingat lagi – Pres Duterte at Mayor Sara Duterte #SafePilipinas #SafeDavao.”
