Duterte says probe into PH drug war ‘b*llsh*t’, won’t answer to white people

By Prince Golez

President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday called the possible International Criminal Court probe into drug war killings in the Philippines “b*llsh*t.”

Duterte said he will never face trial before foreigners, reiterating that the ICC no longer has jurisdiction over him.

“Why would I defend or face an accusation before white people? You must be crazy. Iyong mga colonizers ito noon they have not atoned for their sins against the countries that they invaded, including the Philippines,” the Chief Executive said during his “Talk to the People” address.

“Tapos eto ngayon sila, they’re trying to set up a court outside our country and making us liable to face them. Our laws are different. Our criminal procedure is very different. How will you suppose to get justice there?” he asked.

Duterte, however, said that he’s ready to defend himself in a Philippine court and before a Filipino judge.

“Ako magharap ng mga puti? L**** kayo. Gawin niyo akong… I will readily face a court being accused in a Philippine court before a Filipino judge. Huwag nila akong ma… Lalo na ‘yang prosecutor. I do not want to insult,” he also said.

Last week, ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda sought authorization to investigate the administration’s drug war killings, saying there was reason to believe crimes against humanity had been committed.
