Duterte wants cop who killed 52-year-old woman in QC to go to prison

President Rodrigo Duterte assured that the police officer involved in the killing of a 52-year-old woman in Quezon City will go to prison.

“Iyan, makulong talaga ‘yan.Makulong ‘yan, Pastor, sigurado. I will see to it na makulong,” Duterte told Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ in an interview.

Earlier, Master Sgt. Hensie Zinampan was caught on video fatally shooting his neighbor 52-year-old Lilybeth Valdez in Barangay Greater Fairview.

Zinampan is now under the custody of the Quezon City Police District’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit and is facing administrative and criminal charges.

Duterte said he would only defend a policeman or a soldier only if they kill in the line of duty.

Those involved in crimes, on one hand, “have to pay,” he added.
