The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has allowed the Philippine Swimming Incorporated (PSI) to host the Israeli National Swimming Team for pre-Olympic training, according to Malacañang.
The IATF’s approval came following the request of the PSI to allow training of the Israeli National Swimming Team at the New Clark City Aquatics Center in Capas, Tarlac from July 8 to 21.
“Mantakin niyo po, dati, tayo ang nagti-train sa ibang bansa dahil wala tayong facilities,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a virtual presser Tuesday.
“Ngayon ang mga dayuhan po ang nagti-train sa ating mga facilities. Congratulations po sa New Clark City at sa (Bases Conversion and Development Authority),” added Roque.
