Palace Spokesman Harry Roque believes that the administration has lived up to President Rodrigo Duterte’s campaign promises, particularly in his anti-illegal drug campaign.
Citing a Pulse Asia survey, Roque on Wednesday said most Filipinos were satisfied with the performance of Duterte as he kept his promise to protect the public from the scourge of illegal drugs.
The secretary also mentioned the government’s efforts to streamline government processes and fight corruption.
“Wag nating kalimutan na ang presidente ang kauna-unahang presidente na pumirma ng libreng tuition sa state universities and colleges, libreng paggamot at libreng gamot, libreng patubig sa mga maliliit na mga magsasaka, at libreng wifi na pinabibilis natin ngayon,” he said during a televised briefing.
“At siyempre po yung marami pang mga social pieces of legislation, kasama na po dito sa kanyang giyera laban sa COVID. Kasama po diyan yun mga libreng PCR test na dati rati hindi kabahagi ng programa ng PhilHealth at saka yung libreng bakuna na kabahagi din po ng Universal Health Care.” he added.
