The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has issued guidelines on all inbound passengers fully vaccinated in the Philippines and those inoculated in “green” or low-risk countries.
Under IATF Resolution No. 123-C, the said fully vaccinated individuals are allowed to undergo a shorter seven-day facility-based quarantine upon their arrival.
They must undergo RT-PCR testing on the 5th day after their arrival, the resolution stated.
Meanwhile, the government’s Covid-19 task force tasked the Bureau of Quarantine (BOQ) to issue a quarantine certificate indicating the individual’s vaccination status upon completion of his/her quarantine.
Fully vaccinated individuals shall carry the following as proof of their vaccination status:
Those fully vaccinated in the Philippines must carry their vaccination card which should be verified prior to their departure by a certification issued through the Certificate of Vaccination Record Portal of the Department of Information and Communications Technology or the City Health Officer of the local government unit which administered the full vaccination;
Those fully vaccinated in countries/jurisdiction outside the country must carry their official documentation of full vaccination validated through the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, or present their International Certificate of Vaccination, whichever is applicable; and
The aforementioned documents must be presented to the dedicated BOQ representative for re-verification at the Department of Transportation One-Stop-Shop upon arrival in the Philippines.
