The Philippines on Saturday night received 37,800 more doses of Sputnik V vaccine from Russia.
The Russian-made Covid-19 vaccines arrived past 9 p.m. at Terminal 1 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Parañaque City.
The fresh batch was immediately taken to PharmaServ Express’ cold-chain storage facility in Marikina City.
Since May, the country has so far received 350,000 doses of Sputnik V vaccine, including the 132,200 doses that arrived in Manila last Friday.
To date, more than 12 million Covid-19 shots have been given out to Filipinos throughout the country.
