Big time! Jejomar Binay joins Lacson-Sotto senatorial lineup – Sotto

Former Vice President Jejomar Binay has joined the senatorial lineup of the Lacson-Sotto tandem, according to Senate President Tito Sotto.

In a message to reporters in a Viber thread, Sotto, chair of the Nationalist People’s Coalition, revealed that Binay, president of the United Nationalist Alliance, was joining the roster of senatorial candidates on the Lacson-Sotto ticket.

“Ongoing meeting with our new Senatorial Candidate! Sabi ko sa inyo big time eh!” he told reporters.

“Yes. Confirmed with us. Senate lineup,” Sotto said.

Binay would be the 11th name on the list of senatorial candidates after Sotto disclosed 10 others.

Only one slot is open, according to Sotto, but only “if Dick (Gordon) and Sherwin (Gatchalian) remain.”

He did not say if the two were planning to back out or entertaining other options.

The Lacson-Sotto senatorial lineup so far consists of the following:

6. Goyo Larrazabal
7. Loren Legarda
