Duterte thanks PDP-Laban for support, confidence in his leadership

President Rodrigo Duterte expressed his gratitude to the ruling PDP-Laban party for their continued trust and confidence in his leadership.

“I am grateful for PDP Laban’s continued trust and confidence in my leadership,” Duterte said during the PDP-Laban national assembly in Clark, Pampanga Saturday.

The Chief Executive said he appreciates the party for supporting whatever his decision may be for next year’s polls.

“Despite all the challenges that we are facing, your unwavering support for this administration’s priorities—especially our campaign against illegal drugs, terrorism, corruption, and poverty—is truly reassuring,” said Duterte.

“I am grateful for PDP Laban’s continued trust and confidence in my leadership. I also deeply appreciate your commitment to support whatever my decision may be for the 2022 National Elections,” he added.

The President again raised the possibility of running for vice president to get immunity from lawsuits.
