Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Monday raised the possibility of a Duterte-Duterte tandem in the 2022 national elections.
“Sa pulitika, anything is possible, nothing is impossible,” Roque said in his virtual presser.
On Friday, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio, the daughter of President Rodrigo Duterte, expressed willingness to run for president next year.
She, however, said there was no final decision yet.
The President, on one hand, said he was “seriously thinking” about joining the vice presidential race.
