The Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases has approved the creation of a sub-Technical Working Group to facilitate the distribution of the country’s national Covid-19 vaccination certificate, Malacañang said Friday.
“The IATF approved the constitution of a sub-Technical Working Group to design, deploy, support and recommend relevant policies related to the national certificate for COVID-19 vaccinations, otherwise known as “VaxCertPH,” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a statement.
Roque said the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) will lead the sub-Technical Working Group.
Other members include the Department of Health, Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Tourism, Department of Transportation, Department of Labor and Employment, and the National Privacy Commission.
Other agencies which may be included by the DICT, the secretary added.
