Malacañang assured that concerned agencies will resolve the longstanding power shortage problem in Occidental Mindoro.
In his virtual presser Tuesday, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said he will inform President Rodrigo Duterte about the province’s power supply deficiencies.
“Makakarating po iyang reklamo nila hindi lang kay Presidente kung hindi sa ating Department of Energy, sa (National Grid Corporation of the Philippines) at kung sino pa ang dapat pagbigyan ng notice ‘no, kasama na rin siguro po diyan ang (Energy Regulatory Commission),” according to Roque.
Reports said that Occidental Mindoro has long suffered brownouts that continue to affect various sectors in the province.
These outages usually occur for two to three hours a day.
