The government’s vaccination program against Covid-19 has fully inoculated more than 10 million Filipinos, Malacañang said.
In yesterday’s televised briefing, Roque expressed confidence that the Philippines could reach its goal to achieve population protection this year.
“Kumpiyansa tayo na maaabot natin ito,” he pointed out.
During the ceremonial program of the 10M Fully Vaccinated Filipinos event held in Mandaluyong City, Roque said that vaccinations in Metro Manila will proceed even under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
The national government earlier ordered to place the capital region under ECQ from August 6 to 20 following the recent surge in Covid-19 cases.
