For Brian Poe Lllamanzares, his mom Senator Grace Poe cooks better than anyone else.

Brian described his mother as the “best chef in the world” in a sweet birthday greeting on Instagram. Home-cooked food prepared by mums is usually regarded the best since it has this vital ingredient, a mother’s love

The senator turned 53 on Sept. 3, 2021. She celebrated her special day with her family at home.

“Happy Birthday to the best chef in the world Nothing beats my mama’s cooking ” Brian wrote on Instagram.

Brian, who serves as the senator’s chief of staff, admitted gaining weight after enjoying his mom’s home cooked meals.

“I remember at the start of the pandemic @sengracepoe would personally prepare every dinner. Coincidentally I gained 17.5lbs back then… good times ,” he said.

A photo of the senator and her son preparing a dish on live television was also shared on the birthday tribute online.

“Throwback to that one time my mom and I guested on @_magandangbuhay and she cooked Papa Ronnie’s favorite Gambas! ” he said.
