Locsin to passport printer: Release kid’s passport within a week or else I will castrate you

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teddy Locsin Jr. won’t accept sluggish work at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA).

Locsin’s strict work ethic is seen after he directed concerned DFA personnel to release the passport of a Filipino kid after weeks of delay. The former Makati lawmaker threatened to castrate the passport printer if it cannot release the kid’s passport within the week.

“Ma’am, this boy will get his passport next week or I will castrate the passport printer,” he tweeted on Sept. 5, 2021.

If the passport release fails to meet his deadline, Locsin already set a plan B. The DFA personnel will be deployed to the young person’s house to arrange his passport.

“If his documents have been lost by these provincial scum, then @dfaoca will go to his house and prepare a new set of docs for his passport. In one week,” he said.

Locsin made the promise after a Twitter user asked for help about the delayed release of her son’s passport. The boy got his passport renewed at a mall in Quezon City two months ago but still has yet to get the document.

“It’s been two months since he renewed his passport at TOPS Robinsons Magnolia. Up til now, his passport is missing. @DFAPHL@teddyboylocsin emails remain unanswered. No one can track where his documents really are. Please help,” Carin Alexandria wrote on Twitter.
