Para kay mommy! Mikey Arroyo named campaign manager of mom Gloria’s Congress comeback bid

Pampanga 2nd District Rep. Mikey Arroyo won’t run for public office in next year’s elections.

Arroyo will instead serve as the campaign manager for his mom, former President Gloria Arroyo, in the next congressional polls, according to an ABS-CBN report.

The former leader has agreed to make a House comeback in the 2022 elections after previously occupying the congressional seat for nine years. Mikey will vacate his congressional post for his mother.

“I won’t run for any position. I will devote my time to be her campaign manager,” Mikey said in the ABS-CBN report.

Arroyo served as Pampanga’s representative from 2010 to 2019. She briefly served as House Speaker in the final year of her congressional term.
