Filipinos who are still reluctant to get a Covid-19 shot should be vaccinated while asleep, President Rodrigo Duterte said Tuesday.

Duterte said bringing vaccines to individual homes will force people hesitant about the Covid-19 vaccine to get the jab.

“Alam kong marami pang ayaw [magpabakuna]. Kaya hanapin ninyo ‘yan sa barangay ninyo. Akyatin natin ang pagtulog at turukin natin habang natutulog para makumpleto ang estorya,” Duterte said during his pre-recorded “Talk to the People” address.

“Kung ayaw, eh ‘di akyatin sa bahay, tusukin natin sa gabi. I will lead the journey,” he added.
