K-drama muna sa Netflix: Lani Revilla binge-watches ‘Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha’

Actress-turned-politiko Lani Mercado Revilla is a K-drama fan.

The Bacoor City mayor is currently hooked on the popular Korean series “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” on Netflix. She watched the K-drama over the weekend to help relieve some stress from work.

The mayor’s latest K-drama favorite, “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha,” is a feel-good romance starring Shin Min-a and Kim Seon-ho

The TV series, a remake of the film “Mr. Handy,” follows the romance between a dentist, Yoon Hye-jin (Shin), who moves from the city to a seaside village to open up a practice, and the neighborhood’s charming jack-of-all trades Hong Du-Sik (Kim).

“After a very tiring week, K-drama muna tayo sa Netflix, watching now Hometown Cha Cha. Kayo, ano ang paborito niyong series sa Netflix?” Revilla wrote on Facebook.

Lani, wife of Senator Bong Revilla, has filed her candidacy for Cavite’s 2nd district representative in the 2022 elections. She will swap posts with her brother-in-law Rep. Strike Revilla.
