Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque on Thursday said he will talk to President Rodrigo Duterte about his political plans for the 2022 polls “next week.”
Roque is among those eyeing a possible run for senator in next year’s elections.
“Matagal na po nating ninanais ‘yan dahil minsan tayo naglingkod na sa Kongreso at tayo naman po ay hindi naging committee of silence at nagsulong ng mga importanteng batas kagaya po ng Universal Healthcare at libreng irigasyon at libreng tanghalian para sa kabataan,” the secretary said in his virtual presser.
“Pero mag-uusap pa po kami ni president. Naka-facility quarantine lang ako kaya mahirap kaming makapagusap… Inaasahan ko po next week ay pwede na po kaming makapag-usap,” he added.
Roque recently returned from New York City in the United States for the selection of members of the International Law Commission, a United Nations body responsible for helping develop and codify international law.
