Kadyot lang! Sara Duterte still thinking about 2022 plans after being with Bongbong in Cebu

Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte continues to keep everyone guessing about her political plans after spending practically the entire Saturday (October 23) with former senator Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in vote-rich Cebu.

Duterte and Marcos were together for lunch at the house of the former senator’s cousin, Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, at a posh subdivision in Cebu City.

They jointly had dinner at the residence of Liloan Mayor Christina Frasco, who is Duterte’s spokesperson.

“Maraming salamat po sa aking spokesperson, Liloan Mayor Christina Garcia-Frasco at Cong. Duke Frasco sa pag-imbita niyo para sa dinner ngayong gabi. Salamat Gov. Gwen sa mainit na pagtanggap sa amin ni Sir BBM,” Duterte said in a Facebook post.

Has an alliance between Duterte and Marcos been sealed in Cebu?

Abogado Bruce Rivera, who was with Duterte in Cebu, said the presidential daughter is still undecided about her political plans.

“ATTENTION || Wala pa pong desisyon si Inday Sara. Nag-uusap pa sila ng mga board of judges. || Kaya kadyot lang….. || Nagsesecond tot pa daw ang Agila,” he said in a Facebook post.

Rivera accompanied his post with a screenshot of a text message supposedly from Duterte, where she said: “Kadyot ha. Kay gahunahuna pako (Wait, I’m still thinking).”

There’s widespread clamor for Duterte to run for president while Marcos has already filed his candidacy for the country’s top elective post.

Duterte has until November 15 to file as a substitute candidate of a national party that fielded a standard bearer for the 2022 polls.
