Katrina Ponce Enrile runs for Cagayan congresswoman in 2022 polls

Another Enrile scion is joining the world of politics.

Businesswoman Katrina Ponce Enrile has filed her candidacy for representative of the Cagayan’s 1st District on Friday. Katrina is the daughter of former Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile.

“It’s final. I am running,” Katrina wrote on Facebook.

Enrile’s daughter posted online a copy of her certificate of candidacy to become a member of the House of Representatives. She will seek the House seat under the Lakas-CMD political party.

The congressional post was previously held by Katrina’s brother Jack and father former Defense Minister Enrile.
