President Rodrigo Duterte on Saturday graced the inauguration ceremony of the Grand Mosque in Marawi City.
Duterte led the unveiling of the marker of the newly constructed Jameo Mindanao Al-Islamie, which was destroyed during the 2017 Marawi siege.
He was joined by Task Force Bangon Marawi chairperson and Human Settlements and Urban Development Secretary Eduardo Del Rosario, National Commission on Muslim Filipinos Secretary Saidamen Pangarungan, Lanao del Sur Governor Mamintal Adiong Jr., Marawi City Mayor Majul Gandamra, and Senator Christopher Go.
In Marawi, Duterte also attended the commemoration of the 4th Anniversary of the liberation of Marawi from terrorist influence.
He also went to Iligan City to administer the oath-taking of new members of the ruling PDP-Laban party.
