Malacañang has congratulated Cinderella “Cindy” Obeñita for winning the country’s second Miss Intercontinental title.
Obeñita, a 25-year-old Cagayan de Oro native, bested 70 other participants in the beauty pageant held in Egypt on October 29.
“Congratulations Cindy Obeñita, our newly crowned Miss Intercontinental 2021. You made our country proud! Mabuhay ka!” Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque said in a Facebook post.
Obeñita is a senior tourism operations officer in the provincial government of Misamis Oriental.
