Roque says ‘no hard feelings’ after Sara refused presidential bid

By Prince Golez

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has no hard feelings that Davao City Sara Duterte-Carpio did not run for the country’s top post.

Roque, however, expressed hope that Duterte-Carpio, who is seeking reelection for a third and final term in 2022, will change her mind.

That was when my heart was broken dahil I wanted her to run for president,” the secretary said in a virtual presser.

I was still praying and hoping na magbabago.

Roque also wished for the recovery of Duterte-Carpio, who tested positive for Covid-19.

“Ang mensahe po natin kay Mayor Sara at sa kanyang pamilya, please keep safe and get well soon,” he said.
