An American wanted in New York for molesting a 13-year-old girl was arrested in Mandaluyong City last Thursday (Oct. 14), said Immigration Commissioner Jaime Morente.
Morente identified in a statement the arrested American fugitive as Francisco Loreno who was arrested by operatives of the BI’s Fugitive Search Unit (BI-FSU).
The BI chief described Loreno as “an undesirable alien and poses a risk to public safety, as he is a wanted criminal in the US.”
Morente said he issued the arrest order against Loreno after the US District Court of the Western District of New York issued a March 2019 arrest warrant for violating the New Jersey Code of Criminal Justice for alleged;y molesting a 13-year-old girl.
“Fugitives, especially those wanted for crimes against minors, are not welcome in our country,” Morente declared.
“We will make sure that these kinds of aliens are deported and banned from setting foot in the Philippines,” he assured.
