Senatorial aspirant Gilberto “Gibo” Teodoro Jr. is back in good health.
The former defense secretary posted a Facebook video to thank his supporters and inform them about his recovery after suffering a bout of coronavirus illness. In a Facebook video, Teodoro said he completed his 14-day isolation and tested negative for COVID-19.
Teodoro also asked his allies to sustain such support and spreading the campaign for reforms.
Teodoro recently tested positive for coronavirus, that forced him to send a representative in filing his senatorial candidacy before the Commission on Elections early this month. He went into isolation after learning he contracted the virus.
After recovering from COVID-19, Teodoro is raring to promote his reform agenda in his Senate bid.
Teodoro has proposed a seven-point action plan to bring about a “New Philippines for the New Generation.” One of the “seven pillars” is hastening the vaccination of Filipinos to jumpstart the country’s sluggish economy.
Teodoro, in a series of posts on his official website, said the seven pillars are to expedite vaccine administration to reopen the economy, implement basic and higher education reform, maintain peace and order, promote food sustainability, implement connectivity to unite the country, upgrade the military and police, and foster synergy between public and private sectors.
